Valuation disputes often turn on the vehicle’s actual condition. Midwest VITAL gives appraisers, insurers and attorneys a controlled place to examine a vehicle for fair market value, actual cash value, replacement value, diminished value and total loss matters, including specialty, collector, RV and commercial vehicles. The vehicle can be examined on a lift, under good lighting, with every party present if needed.

Tractor-trailers, buses and fleet vehicles do not fit in most shops. Midwest VITAL has the space to bring a tractor-trailer indoors, even alongside a passenger vehicle from the same case. Trucking companies, fleets, insurers and attorneys can inspect commercial vehicles after incidents, mechanical failures, or repair and maintenance disputes, at a facility about 10 miles from Interstate 70 and 15 miles from Interstate 64.

When plaintiff counsel, defense counsel, insurers, manufacturers and their experts all need access to the same vehicle, Midwest VITAL hosts the inspection at one neutral location. Participants sign in, the agreed protocol is followed, and every party sees the vehicle in the same condition at the same time. The facility is reserved for one case per day, and staff and tools are available to remove components at an additional cost.

Inspections tied to litigation need more than an open bay. Midwest VITAL is set up around how cases actually work: inspection protocols agreed on in advance, participant sign-in, controlled procedures and thorough documentation. Attorneys can schedule around discovery deadlines, coordinate multiple parties and experts in one place, and know the vehicle is handled the same way from arrival to release.

When the question is what failed and why, experts need room to get at the system involved. Midwest VITAL provides the lifts, diagnostic equipment and work space to evaluate engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, tires, wheels and bearings, cooling, electrical and electronic systems, fuel and hydraulic systems, and RV and commercial vehicle systems. Findings can then be compared against repair records, maintenance history and manufacturer specifications.

Motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers and toy haulers bring their own systems and their own size problems. Midwest VITAL can bring a Class A, B or C motorhome indoors for inspection, one RV at a time so the facility is dedicated to it. Parties can evaluate RV systems, chassis and components involved in warranty, lemon law, repair and insurance disputes.

Midwest VITAL gives attorneys, insurers and experts an indoor, controlled space to inspect vehicles involved in litigation, insurance claims, warranty disputes and repair disputes. Inspections can be visual, non-destructive, diagnostic, measurement-based or include authorized disassembly, with lifts, lighting, power, compressed air and diagnostic equipment on site for photographs, video, measurements and diagnostic data.
